Zorin OS - Buggy / 'Sticking' - While Switching Between Open Windows

Zorin's driving me nuts.

Don't know if it's something to do with disabling Javascript or not, but I've developed some kind of buggy thing where,  switching screens, the OS just kind of 'sticks' and I'm left clicking various open windows to get a window up.

Also need to then fiddle with scrolling to 'straighten' out the result, that shows an overlap of contents from other open windows, in the selected window.

Hoping I won't have to re-install the OS, because I didn't back up.  I can save my stuff, but the system settings are going to get screwed up.

Not happy.

PS

Think Zorin's scroll bar size is a bit small.  Precision is an effort for me.  A wider button would have been better, I think.
